The calculators are free to use, for personal or professional purposes, with no account required. By using the site you accept the terms on this page. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

Results are informational

Every calculator here produces an informational result. Some are exact arithmetic, some are estimates based on the assumptions stated on the page, and some are explicitly for entertainment. Each calculator page carries its own disclaimer describing which it is and what its specific limitations are — that page-level disclaimer is part of these terms.

Results are not professional advice. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, medical, academic or career advice, and it should not be treated as a substitute for a qualified professional or for the official position of a relevant institution.

Where a decision matters — an application, a submission, an examination result, a payment — verify the figure against the authoritative source before you act on it.

Accuracy

Calculators are tested against worked examples and edge cases, and the formula used is documented on each page so you can check it. Even so, we do not warrant that every result is free of error, and we do not warrant that a rule set used by a calculator currently matches the one that applies to you. Grading scales, marking schemes and game formulas change, sometimes without notice.

You are responsible for checking that a calculator's stated method matches your situation before relying on its output.

Availability

We aim to keep the site available and correct, but it is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Pages may be changed, corrected or removed at any time, and a calculator's method may be updated when an underlying rule changes.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or any result it produces. This includes decisions made on the basis of a calculated figure.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server or any connected system;
• interfere with the site's operation, including through automated requests at a volume that degrades it for others;
• use the site in a way that breaks applicable law;
• republish substantial parts of the written content as your own.

Intellectual property

The written explanations, page design, and the code implementing the calculators belong to EasyCalculatorSmart. You are welcome to use the calculators and to quote short passages with a link back. You may not copy the articles wholesale or reproduce the site.

Underlying mathematical formulas, grading scales, examination marking schemes and traditional calculation systems are not ours and are not claimed as ours. Names of universities, examinations, games and companies referred to on this site belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what a calculator is for. This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any of them.
