How to convert QFX to PDF
- Drop your QFX file on the box above, or paste its content into the text box.
- Check the settings below the box; the defaults suit most files.
- Press Convert. Every amount and date is checked; if any row cannot be read exactly, nothing is written and the rows are listed.
- Download the .pdf file.
What is kept when you convert QFX to PDF
- A clean statement-style table of every transaction — date, description, memo, type and amount — with the account details above it.
- Totals of money in, money out and the net change are computed exactly from the file’s amounts.
- The ledger balance and its date are printed as stated in the file, never recalculated.
About QFX and PDF files
QFX is Quicken’s version of OFX: the same statement data plus an INTU.BID element that tells Quicken which bank the file came from. It opens in Quicken.
A PDF fixes text and layout into pages that look the same on every device and printer. The PDFs written here embed their font, so the text stays selectable and searchable. It opens in any browser, Acrobat Reader, phone and tablet viewers.
Good to know
- A QFX file is OFX underneath, so it also works on the OFX tools on this site; only the INTU elements differ.
- Choose PDF for printing, archiving and sending final versions. If the recipient needs to edit, send Word instead.
Privacy and limits
The file is read and converted by this page in your browser; there is no upload and no account. Amounts are handled as exact decimal text, never as rounded numbers. Files up to 25 MB are accepted; a file of the wrong type or a damaged file is rejected with the reason.
